About Author

Mary Leinhos is manager of the Human Research Protection Office at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She holds a PhD in higher education and an MS in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona. Dr. Leinhos is coauthor of a chapter on the ethics of public health practice in Behavioral Interventions for Prevention and Control of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and also has published in the journal Science and Public Policy.
