About Author

Ghada Suleiman Sasa is an assistant professor of English literature at the Hashemite University in Jordan. She teaches courses in American literature, American studies, American culture, as well as a number of other English literature courses. Dr. Sasa earned her doctoral degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and both her Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree from Yarmouk University, Jordan. Her main interest of study and research is in nineteenth-century American literature, specifically American realism and naturalism.
