Hjörtur Bragi Sverrisson is the Head of Legal Affairs at EEA Grants, a development fund within the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in Brussels with a strong focus on environmental protection and sustainable development. He earned his PhD from the University of Miami, Department of International Studies, his LLM degree from the University of Miami School of Law, and his national law degree from the University of Iceland School of Law. Other publications include: War Is Subject to Limits: The 1949 Geneva Conventions and Its 1977 Additional Protocols and “Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Kosovo: A Window of Opportunity?.”
