About Author

Dr. Andrew Blumbergs is president of the Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies (AABS) in Australasia. He is also the learning area leader for German studies at Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne and is involved in the development of language curriculum utilising a partial-immersion, bilingual approach in the instruction of modern languages in Australia, particularly German. Dr. Blumbergs holds a PhD in German, Russian and Swedish Studies from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
