About Author

Paul Sharrad teaches postcolonial literatures in English at Wollongong University, Australia. He has published widely on writing from the Pacific, India, the West Indies, and Australia and for some time edited the CRNLE Reviews Journal and New Literatures Review. He has edited Readings in Pacific Literature (1993), Self, Life, Writing (2000), and Reinventing Textiles: Postcolonialism and Creativity (2005). His other books are Raja Rao and Cultural Tradition (1985) and Albert Wendt and Pacific Literature (2003).
