About Author

Chia-Mei Jane Coughlan holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. She was a founding lecturer of Chinese for Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia and has served in the Ministry of Education as a member of the examination panel on advanced-level Chinese for the state’s tertiary entrance examinations. Dr. Coughlan also holds a master’s degree in educational management from the University of Western Australia and a master’s degree of philosophy in educational research from the University of Cambridge.
