About Author

Janet McClellan is an assistant professor of justice at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. She holds a PhD from Northcentral University, an MPA from the University of Dayton, and a BA from Park University. Dr. McClellan is a veteran of law enforcement and corrections, and she has published widely in articles and book chapter contributions on the subjects of violent sexualized homicide, particularly serial murder.
