Soe Marlar Lwin is an assistant professor in the English Language and Literature Academic Group at the National Institute of Education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She holds a PhD and an MA from the National University of Singapore and an MA and a BA (Hons.) from the University of Yangon, Myanmar. Her main research areas include narrative structures, folktales, oral storytelling, and oracy development. She has also published in journals such as The Buckingham Journal of Language and Linguistics and Language and Literature.
