About Author

Ibrahima Diallo is a lecturer and convenor of Francophone studies at the University of South Australia. He holds a PhD in language planning and language-in-education policy from Griffith University in Australia, an MPhil in applied linguistics from Delhi University in India, a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies from Université Cheikh Anta Diop in Senegal, and an MA and a BA from Université Gaston Berger in Senegal. Dr. Diallo is a normalien from École Normale Supérieure de Dakar in Senegal and has extensive experience in teaching languages and applied linguistics in Senegal, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia. He has published previously on topics related to Francophone studies in sub-Saharan Africa as well as language planning and literacy in Senegal.
