About Author

Christopher S. Collins is the Assistant Provost for Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness at Pepperdine University. He holds a PhD and an MA in higher education and organizational change from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned the Outstanding Dissertation of the Year Award from the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. He also holds an MA from Oklahoma Christian University and a BA from Pepperdine University. Dr. Collins has published in several journals, such as Higher Education and Research in Comparative and International Education, and regularly presents papers at the annual conferences for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), the American Educational Research Association (AERA), and the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES).
