Peter Usher is an emeritus professor of astronomy and astrophysics at The Pennsylvania State University. He holds a PhD from Harvard University and an MSc from the University of the Free State in South Africa. He is a member of the Royal Astronomical Society, The American Astronomical Society, and the International Astronomical Union. He has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals such as The Astronomical Journal and The Astrophysical Journal, and his research on Shakespeare has appeared in The Elizabethan Review, The Oxfordian, and The Shakespeare Newsletter.
