About Author

Steven Rawle is a lecturer in film studies at York St. John University. He holds a PhD and an MLitt from the University of Aberdeen and a BA from the University of Leeds. He has previously published on repetition in the work of Hal Hartley in Film Criticism, and other publications have appeared in The Journal of Japanese and Korean Cinema and Asian Cinema. His other published work includes explorations of Ringu, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Battlestar Galactica. Dr. Rawle is also one of the co-authors of Basics Filmmaking: The Language of Film.
