About Author

Andrew Zhonghu Yan is a professor at Hangzhou Normal University, China. Prior to this appointment, he taught at Hope College and the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, an MA from Brown University, and a BA from Zhejiang University. Dr. Yan is the compiler and translator of A History of Chinese Taoism and has published in journals such as the Journal of Chinese Philosophy and Religion Compass. He has also served as a referee for Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy.
