About Author

Robert A. Marcink is a professor of English at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois, where he teaches film, journalism, and English. He holds a PhD from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MA from Point Park University, and a BA from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a full-time college instructor in 1997, he was a journalist in Pennsylvania and Georgia where he worked for numerous publications while also publishing freelance works.
