Gray Kochhar-Lindgren is Professor of Philosophy, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Washington, Bothell, and Director of the Center for University Studies and Programs. With a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory University, Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren is the author of Narcissus Transformed, Starting Time, TechnoLogics, and Night Café, as well as many reviews and journal articles. He is working on Philosophy in the Streets, TransPacific Cities: Hong Kong and Seattle, Global Noir, and the emerging global university. Dr. Kochhar-Lindgren has taught in Switzerland, Germany, and the United States, and, in 2009–2010, served as a Fulbright Scholar in General Education at the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong-America Center.
