About Author

Ken McCormick holds the Lawrence Jepson Chair of Economics at the University of Northern Iowa. He received his PhD in economics from Iowa State University in 1982. Professor McCormick has published numerous scholarly articles, several of which have to do with Thorstein Veblen. He is the recipient of the Iowa Regents Award for Faculty Excellence, UNI’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the UNI School of Business Distinguished Scholar Award.
