About Author

Amal Abdelrazek is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Alexandria in Egypt. She received her Ph.D. from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, her Master's from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, and her Bachelor's from Alexandria University in Egypt.

Dr. Abdelrazek's research areas include Comparative and Postcolonial Literature, Feminism, and especially Arab-American Feminism which is the main concern in her article "Arab American Women Writers and the Resisting, Healing, and Connecting Power of their Story Telling" published in the MIT Electronic Journal of Middle East Studies in the Spring of 2005.
