opportunity. The challenges are not insurmountable. Solutions exist, and are waiting to be identified and implemented. Americans might need to lead the way. From a globalistic point of view, there is hope and faith in humanity. Given the proper education that fosters respect for all peoples, multinational corporations (MNCs) will begin to put people first.
There is hope and trust in those universities where courses such as business ethics are now core courses in the curriculum. Government should collaborate with MNC to accomplish the work to be done in training for cultural communication and to establish sound policies to protect people from the hazards and injustices of free trade as it is today. Americans will have to speak, interact and negotiate with others from another culture with ease, sensitivity, openness, respect and most importantly, with a strong ethical base. It is then that their efforts will be reciprocated.
