    (a) 1st year of the Huanglong reign period of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, 3rd month; a star became fuzzy in Wangliang and Gedao then entered Zigong.

    (b) 1st year of the Huanglong reign period of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, 3rd month; a guest star over 1 zhang long stayed about 9 chi northeast of Wangliang, pointing west; it emerged within Gedao and reached as far as Zigong.

    2nd year of the Chuyuan reign period of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, 5th month; a guest star appeared in the space of Mao [LM 18] and stayed about 5 chi east of Juanshe; its color was greenish-white, its flames 3 cun long.

    14th year of King Hyeokgeose of Silla, spring, 2nd month, day jiyou [46]; there was a fuzzy star in Hegu.

BC 44 May 18–Jun 16 [China] (Ho 59)

    5th year of the Chuyuan reign period of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, 4th month; a reddish-yellow broom star about 8 chi long emerged in the northwest. After a few days, it was over 1 zhang long, pointing northeast, within the space of Shen [LM 21].
