Before the work on this latest catalog was finished, our coauthor Zhentao Xu passed away suddenly in the summer of 2004. Without the tireless efforts he and Yaotiao Jiang devoted over several years to searching a great many diverse sources and painstakingly copying out the original records, this work could never have been completed.
