In this project, Christians and Muslims were interviewed—along with personnel of the Christian⁷ and Muslim⁸ national secretariats in Freetown, the Project for Christian-Muslim Relations in Africa (PROCMURA), and the Inter-Religious Council of Sierra Leone (IRCSL)—to find ways in which Sierra Leone Traditionalists could be included in the ongoing interfaith cooperation and dialogue between Muslims and Christians.⁹ Information gathered from this project is discussed in the second and third segments of chapter 6.
