This collection of excellent essays is unique, given all the different perspectives, as well as the varied solutions proposed to address the conflict. However, this book is only one step; it is but a small contribution to the application of academic thinking toward the solution of a very serious problem. It is my hope that the publication of this volume will inspire more discussion and generate greater outside-of-the-box thinking, so that we can find a solution to a very urgent problem that portends greater tragic consequences if left unresolved.
