is presented in chapter 3. There will then be a description of the methods used for both the textual analysis part of the research and the manipulation study. The main results of both parts of the research will be presented in chapter 4. In chapter 5, I will discuss the results of the textual analysis and the manipulation study and provide answers to the research questions. In addition, a comparative analysis will consider a number of parallel texts and enable some qualitative aspects of the discourse to be discussed. Finally, in chapter 6, I will present the conclusions and will include some implications for language pedagogy, research, and testing, together with some suggestions for future research.
