Pew Internet & American Life Project
The Pew Internet Project is a nonprofit, nonpartisan “fact tank” that explores the impact of the Internet on children, families, communities, the workplace, schools, health care, and civic and political life. The Project takes no positions on policy questions. Support for the Project is provided by The Pew Charitable Trusts and is an initiative of the Pew Research Center. At The Pew Charitable Trusts, the support of two people in particular has sustained the Project: president and CEO Rebecca Rimel and the managing director for information and civic initiatives, Donald Kimelman. A third person at the Charitable Trusts has come into the picture in recent years and has become a vital enabler of the Project’s work, including the “future” series: Tim Durkin.
