use in theatre would develop a bank of directorial information, allowing classifications and comparisons of directorial style to become a familiar and discussable phenomenon, where currently this is seen to be more individualistic and enigmatic. Eventually, the development of such a bank could become a component to enhance the work of educational and theatrical training establishments of the future.
