Her book Revolution Plus Love: Literary History, Women’s Bodies, and Thematic Repetition in Twentieth-Century Chinese Literature, was published by University of Hawaii Press in 2003. She is also the author of The Goddess in the Carnival (Hong Kong: Mingbao chubanshe, 2004; Taiwan: Jiuge, 2005; Beijing: Sanlian, 2007).
Kristof Van den Troost obtained his Master in Sinology degree at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 2005. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he specializes in Chinese film studies.
Li Tuo is a former editor of “Beijing Literature” (Beijing wenxue). He is a novelist and literary critic and is at work on a book-length project on Maoist Discourse. He is currently the Editor-in-chief of Horizons, an intellectual journal published in China.
Li Yijian is a graduate of Xiamen University. He has worked in the Literary Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and is presently the Publishing Director of Companion Media Group Limited, Hong Kong. He is a scholar, essayist, and critic.
Liu Zaifu is the former director of the Literary Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He has published 35 books. Some of his publications are: A Biography of Lu Xun, Lu Xun and Natural Science, Lu Xun’s Aesthetics, The Theory of Character Organization, Farewell Gods, Twenty-Five Kinds of Men, Comprehending Dream of the Red Chamber and a nine-volume series entitled Records of Exile. He is the coauthor of Tradition and Chinese, Farewell Revolution, and Understanding Life Together. He is currently a Fellow at University of Colorado at Boulder and Honorary Professor at City University of Hong Kong.
Ping Fu is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Film Studies and East Asian Studies at Dickinson College. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature with a specialization in film studies and theatre from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
