Summary of Literature Review
After reviewing the literature, it becomes clear that communication scholars have conducted too few analyses of hate site content, especially for the specific purpose of determining the constitutional protections that should be afforded to these controversial Web sites. Given the dangers posed by hate groups, and growing concerns about the ease with which these groups can now make their message of intolerance available to a mass Internet audience, further analysis of hate site content is warranted.
