About Author

Michael Hryniuk is a theologian, author, and educator with Theosis Resources and adjunct professor of Christian Spirituality at the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto, Canada. He holds a PhD in religion from Emory University and an MA from the University of Manitoba. Dr. Hryniuk is the former director of the Henri Nouwen Society of the United States and Canada. He is also former assistant director of the community of L’Arche Winnipeg. He has published articles and book reviews in the International Journal of Practical Theology, Weavings, Religious Education Journal, Diakonia, Youth Worker Journal, Touchstone, and the Letters of L’Arche.
