About Author

Rachael J. Dann is assistant professor in Egyptian archaeology in the Carsten Niebuhr Section of Copenhagen University, and Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Archaeology at Durham University. She earned her BA (Hons) and PhD from Durham University. Her MPhil is from Cambridge University. She has previously held posts at Durham University, Manchester University and the Open University. Her other publications include Current Research in Egyptology V (Oxbow Books) and, with Karen Exell, Egypt: Ancient Histories, Modern Archaeologies (forthcoming, Cambria Press). She is also the author of a number of scholarly articles.
