About Author
Wade C. Roberts is a professor of economics, a Southeast Asian studies researcher, a labor economist forensic expert, and an advisor to the government ministries of Cambodia. He earned his PhD in economics from the University of Utah, specializing in labor, gender, public, and development economics.Dr. Roberts currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at both the University of Utah and Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Roberts has spent time living with Cambodian refugees, during which he became fluent in the Cambodian language and familiar with Cambodia's culture, religion, and history.
