About the Contributors
Ada Uzoamaka Azodo, PhD, University of Lagos, is currently affiliated with Indiana University Northwest at Gary. Dr. Azodo is the author of L’Imaginaire dans les romans de Camara Laye (Peter Lang, 1993) and six additional edited and coedited books, as well as chapters, bibliographical entries, book reviews, interviews, and scholarly articles. Her work, which also includes translations, has appeared in the Journal of Religion in Africa, the Women’s Studies Quarterly of the Feminist Press at City University of New York, MotsPluriels, the Journal of the African Literature Association of America, and African Literature Today. Dr. Azodo is currently working on three entries for the forthcoming Oxford University Press Dictionary of African Biography, edited by Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Emmanuel K. Akyeampong. Her latest book project is tentatively titled Incidents in the Life of a Biafran Refugee.
Paul R. Bartrop is an Honorary Fellow in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia, and head of the Department of History at Bialik College, Melbourne. He has been a scholar in residence at the Martin-Springer Institute for Teaching the Holocaust, Tolerance, and Humanitarian Values at Northern Arizona University, as well as a visiting professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has edited and coedited a number of works, including The Genocide Studies Reader (Routledge, 2009); Teaching about the Holocaust: Essays by University and College Educators (Praeger, 2004); False Havens: The British Empire and the Holocaust (University Press of America, 1995); and The Dunera Affair: A Documentary Resource Book (Schwartz & Wilkinson, 1990).
