About Author

Bin Li is Assistant Professor at Wayne State University in the Library and Information Science department. She holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master's in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Dr. Li has published in journals such as the British Journal of Educational Technology, the Proceedings of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, and the International Information and Library Review. She has also presented at the American Society for Information Science and Technology, the Association for Library and Information Science Education, and the Society for Social Studies of Science conferences. Her work experience includes being a Lecturer in the English program for Information Management Studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University, China, and Researcher at the English Center of the University of Hong Kong. She was also a teaching fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and winner of the 2004 Beta Phi Mu Eugene Garfield Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship.
