About Author

Talke Hoppmann is the deputy head of customer experience at Cimex, a London-based digital agency. She holds a PhD and an MA in communication science from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Prior to working in usability consulting and information architecture, she worked as a media researcher for more than 3 years (focusing on intercultural media use, audiences, and new media) and taught BA and MA courses in reception research. She has presented and published internationally and is an active member of the European Communication Association.
